It's no surprise the Koch brothers are behind this concerted effort by The Heartland Institute, a far-right think tank, to discredit climate change evidence and to "dissuade teachers from teaching science".

Breaking news: Climate change denialism revealedConfidential internal documents from the far-right "think tank" Heartland Institute have been leaked by an anonymous person going by the handle "Heartland Insider". These documents reveal their plans to sow confusion about climate change, where they get their funding, and how they plan to use it. Perhaps most disturbing is the casual language they use about all this, including one part where they want to engage in "dissuading teachers from teaching science".
Heartland is very cozy with the tobacco industry, and has spent a lot of effort trying to downplay the connection between tobacco and cancer (http://www.desmogblog.com/heartland-institute-and-academy-tobacco-studies). Just so you understand the folks you're dealing with here.
